You will have to create an app in our developer portal before editing storefront app extension. For details, please go through this section.

Once you have created an app, you can now create a Storefront App Widget in the following section.

App Approval

Every changes to the storefront app widget are subject to app approval.

In other word, if you change the contents of it, it needs to get approved before it is effective and reflected in merchant's storefront
